Welcome to Christ Church Downend, 'building loving relationships'
welcome Jonathan Vickery

A warm welcome to the Christ Church web site! Christ Church Downend is a growing Anglican family church in the Diocese of Bristol, where everyone of every age is welcome. We are committed to building a community where relationships matter most – a community that relates:

up – towards God
in – towards one another
out – towards the world

Belonging to this community involves commitment to one of the four Sunday congregations, and to one of the many mid-week home groups in which spiritual life is nurtured and through which mission is expressed. Every member is encouraged to support and pray for others in their different callings, whether it be in our everyday work or through the life of the church.

Like our church, our web site is a work in progress, but we hope you’ll come and see Christ Church for yourself. We would love to meet you.
